Dear friends,

I am in Washington DC attending the WildlifeDirect Board meeting.

As you can imagine, the economic down turn continues to hurt our operations and so we are looking urgently looking for support for our projects as well as our operations. Raising core costs has been near impossible for the last 12 months which is really worrying.

We’d hate to lose WildlifeDirect because we are making such a difference to so many conservation organizations and individuals on the ground in remote and dangerous places.

We would really appreciate any good ideas from you on fund raising opportunities.

    I think posting this article is a very good idea in itself. Perhaps you could appeal to the small donor community and run a major online fundraising campaign.

    Just my thoughts.
