Solar Eclipse Photos in Nairobi

It started off looking like a terrible day for a solar eclipse, cold and clouded over -but then we had the sight of our lives. This blog post is to share it with those who were not in the path of this amazing spectacle. I took these photos at the Nairobi National Park

No I didn’t see it. I’m in a tour of The States on my last leg. Did a coast to coast. Started in NYC, ending it in San Francisco. Get back next week.

Guess I could always catch the next eclipse in 3043 :)

I was walking to the office, when, through the clouds, I saw this never-seen-by-me-before sight through the cloudy sky above Athi River. It was fantastic for me, thanks for sharing your photos though.

I chose to watch from Kampala, and got lucky – clear skies throughout the eclipse! The clouds rolled in less than an hour after it ended, though.
